John Dolan is perhaps best known as the editor/author of the monthly column ‘LC Troubleshooting’ (1983 – Present) in LCGC Europe and LCGC North America. He has written more than 100 papers on HPLC and related topics, and is the co-author of ‘Troubleshooting HPLC Systems,’ earning more than 20 years of recognition as one of the best HPLC trainers in the world which has become a standard reference work in this area. |

Dr Dolan has been involved in the design of DryLab method development software and has a ‘hands-on’ perspective on the challenges of chromatography in pharmaceutical and biotech applications. In addition to being a Principal Instructor for LC Resources, Dr Dolan has managed a contract research laboratory for the past 10 years, specialising in development, validation and application of LC/MS methods for bioanalytical applications. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for both LCGC magazines and also teaches the Practical HPLC Method Development course for the American Chemical Society. |
